Overview of the Temporary Foreign Worker Program – E-learning Course

The Migrant Worker Hub’s first E-learning Module “Overview of the Temporary Foreign Worker Program” has launched!

This module is a tool for settlement organizations, migrant worker support organizations, professional associations, unions, employers, volunteers and all individuals who support migrant workers to enhance their knowledge about the TFW Program. It is self-directed and can be taken at anytime.

Upon completion of this 1.5hr course participants will have acquired:

  • Knowledge of the Temporary Foreign Worker Program, its history and relevance in Canada, and more specifically in BC.
  • Knowledge about the streams of the Temporary Foreign Worker Program, requirements and eligibility under each stream.
  • Insights on the challenges migrant workers face under the TFW Program and the mechanisms that have been put in place to try to mitigate these issues.
