The Right to Refuse Unsafe Work E-Learning Course

The Migrant Worker Hub’s third E-learning Course “Right to Refuse Unsafe Work” has launched!

This new e-learning course supports individuals and organizations providing supports to migrant workers with understanding the right to refuse unsafe work and how to support a worker who may be in a situation where they need to exercise this right.

Upon completion of this 1.5-hour course participants will have acquired:

  • An understanding of what the right to refuse unsafe work is and the steps to refusing unsafe work
  • Knowledge of how to support a worker who may be in a situation where they need to refuse unsafe work
  • Awareness of potential repercussions to a worker refusing unsafe work
  • Comprehension of how to support a worker who may experience repercussions after refusing unsafe work
