SUMMARY:Webinar: Conflict Resolution Strategies for Migrant Worker Support Organizations
DESCRIPTION:Conflict in the workplace is a common occurrence. For migrant workers there are added factors such as language barriers\, cultural differences and power struggles impacting relationships among migrant workers and with their supervisors/employers. The pandemic has also heightened the situation. There are fewer social events and activities for relaxation due to COVID-19\, resulting in less outlets for workers to destress causing emotions to boil over. How conflicts are resolved has a huge impact on the worker and the culture of the workplace. It’s important for support workers to have greater understanding of conflict resolution techniques to support workers when conflict arises in their workplace.\n\nIn this webinar we will examine:\n\n\nKey terms and principles of conflict resolution\nTypes of workplace conflict including worker and supervisor conflict and co-worker conflict\nConflict resolution strategies\nRecommendations of techniques for resolving conflict for migrant workers in the workplace\n\n\n\n\nEvent Details: \n\n\n\nWebinar: Conflict Resolution Strategies for Migrant Worker Support Organizations\n\nDate: November 29\, 2021\n\n\nTime: 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. PST / 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. EST\n\n\nLocation: Online | You will receive the web link via email after registering\n\n\nPresenter: \n\nCamille Dumond\, MA Counselling Psychology\, MEd Conflict Facilitation – Dignity Facilitation\n\n\nClick Here to Register
