DESCRIPTION:The North Region 2020 Regional Meeting “Supporting Migrant Workers: Building Resilience for the Future” will build upon the recommendations we heard from the 2019 Regional Meetings in relation to serving migrant workers\, the improvements and the gaps that still need to be addressed. At the same time\, it will also be a space to learn about important changes in policies and best practices to respond to migrant workers needs during the pandemic.\n\nThis regional meeting will bring together migrant worker support organizations\, professional associations\, consulates\, volunteers\, employers\, unions\, federal and provincial government agencies\, researchers\, and other stakeholders who are involved in the protection of migrant workers in BC. \nEvent Details:\nWhen: October 27 & 28\, 2020 from 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM PST\nWhere: Online\nFor more information and to register click here: https://www.accelevents.com/e/AMSSANorthRegionalMeeting \nThis meeting will consist of various virtual presentations\, panel discussions\, and breakout sessions.
